Swedish-style meatball sauce

Ingredients

  • 30g butter
  • 300-400ml milk
  • 3 tbsp dark soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp flour

Method

  • Melt the butter in a pan
  • Add in 2 tbsp not heaped of flour
  • Stir well, cook for just under a minute
  • Add milk slowly, however much you think, probably about 300 to 400 ml
  • Heat until it thickens
  • Stir in soy sauce a bit at a time and taste it. It gets overpowering quickly.
